KEYES, JOE G.\ MARION - Joe G. Keyes, age 60, died Monday afternoon in the Smythe County Community Hospital. He was retired from the United Intermountain Telephone Company with 37 years service. He was employed by Barnett Funeral Home in Marion for 2 years. He is survived by his wife, Joyce F. Keyes, Marion; one son, Edward G. Keyes, Marion; one daughter, Rebecca I. Chris, Marion; one grandson, Kelly Chris, Jr.; one brother, Bill Keyes, Chesapeake; five sisters, Ethel Leonard, Oma Lee Vernon, Thelma Smith, Viola Mays, all of Marion; Oveda Profitt, Orlando, Fla. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. at the Barnett Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Entombment will follow in Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 7:00 to 9:00 at the Barnett Funeral Home Marion Chapel.
