SHARE SIGNUP PLANNED IN AREA

Registration for SHARE, the self-help food cooperative, will be held at locations in Radford and Blacksburg next week.

First Christian Church in Radford will have its signup on April 5, 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. The next pickup day is April 28, 9:30-10:30 a.m.

Blacksburg Presbyterian will have its registration April 8, noon-1 p.m., and April 12, 4-6 p.m.

Cost is $13.59 for 25 to 40 pounds of food. At the Blacksburg location, participants may also pay $13 in food stamps and do two hours of community service.
