WEIGHTLIFTING BENEFIT ANNOUNCED

The Radford Montgomery County Unit of the American Cancer Society will hold its 13th annual Lifting Pounds Against Cancer Monday at Radford High School.

High- and middle-school students will raise funds by collecting pledges. Each participant is given three chances to complete a bench press. The best lift is counted towards the competition.

Weigh-ins begin at 6:30 p.m. and the competition will begin at 7.
