ART CONTEST FOR MENTAL HEALTH

The Mental Health Association of Montgomery County has announced the 1990 Young Artists Contest. This year's theme is "Nice People Get Mad Sometimes."

Artists grades 3-5 may enter one picture - done in watercolors, pencil or crayon - that depicts the theme. The art should be entered on one sheet of 8 1/2- by 11-inch paper with the student's name, age, grade, address, phone number, and the name of the student's school listed on the back.

Entries are not returnable and should be sent to the Mental Health Association, Young Artists Contest, 203 Church St., Blacksburg, Va. 24060.

Deadline for entry is April 9.

Artist Linda Bostic Smith will be the judge. The winner will receive a gift certificate from Mish Mish of Blacksburg.
