COW CASE DEMANDS HELP FROM ABROAD

ALTHOUGH I have not been involved with law enforcement for nearly a decade, I called my few remaining contacts for information to solve what is fast becoming nationally known as the "cow caper."

I am not saying there has been a cover-up; I do say let the cow chips fall where they may - but step carefully.

I have personally communicated with an evidence technician called in from the field to investigate. Mrs. Mu has been with the FBI (Farm Bureau of Investigation) for many years. Mu advised that on Kavanaugh's plywood cow there was a "clear identifiable hoof print" leaving a "noticeable indentation in the plywood," evidence that the culprit was a hefty heifer.

Furthermore, it was the right foreleg of a Charolais cow. A domestic cow is one thing - we could just take hoof prints of our county cows for comparison purposes. But it appears that we have an international conspiracy, a French connection if you will.

This case is too big and too complicated for Roanoke County. We need the assistance of international law enforcement. Let no tax dollar remain unspent, let no grandiose ego be deflated, let no chip be unturned - we must press on until we have the offender by the tail.
