CHRYSLER EXTENDS REBATES

Chrysler Corp. extended cash rebates through May 31 on all of its 1990 model cars and trucks except for mini-vans and a convertible.

Chrysler's rebate program had been scheduled to end Saturday.

In a separate announcement, General Motors Corp. said Friday buyers of its Cadillac luxury models could receive cash rebates ranging from $1,500 to $2,000.

Chrysler's action follows similar offers by its domestic rivals, GM and Ford Motor Co., which have both extended and sweetened their financial incentive programs on a broad range of vehicles in recent days.
