Carl Neves Franklin, Sr., of Salem, died Friday in a Roanoke hospital.
Surviving are his wife, Molly Munson Franklin; one son, Carl N. Franklin, Jr.,
Roanoke County; Barbara F. Doughman, Salem; two sisters, Byrl Turner and
Florence Looney, both of Salem; three grandchildren, Gregory W. St. Clair,
Teresa Marie St. Clair, and Daniel J. Franklin. Graveside services will be
private. John M. Oakey & Son Funeral Home in Salem is in charge of
arrangements.
