WAL-MART SCHOLARSHIP GOES TO ERIC SHUMSKY

Wal-Mart in Christiansburg has chosen Eric Shumsky of Blacksburg as the 1990 recipient of the $1,000 Wal-Mart Foundation community scholarship.

Shumsky, a senior at Blacksburg High School, is vice president of the International Club and a member of the social studies and all-round teams of the Mountain Academic Competition Conference at Blacksburg.
