TEACHERS' DEADLINE FOR GRANT APPLICATIONS

The Virginia Commission for the Arts has set a June 1 deadline for Teacher Incentive Grant applications.

The grants provide financial assistance to teachers who wish to explore new ways of incorporating the arts into the basic curriculum. Funds may be used to provide special arts resources or programming, to hire artists or art consultants, or to buy supplies for specific art projects.
