CANCER SOCIETY SETS BIDS FOR BACHELORS

The Radford-Montgomery unit of the American Cancer Society will hold its third annual Bid for Bachelors on Friday at the Holiday Inn in Blacksburg.

A social hour is planned 6:30-7:30 p.m. with free hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Bidding will begin at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets are available at La Vogue in the New River Valley Mall, Special Effects in Christiansburg and at the Blacksburg Holiday Inn. Advance tickets are $7. Tickets are $10 at the door.
