PEMBROKE - Albert Vivian Link, age 86, died Monday morning in a Blacksburg hospital. A Giles County native, he was the son of the late Lon and Addie Martin Link. He was retired from Virginia Limestone Company. He was preceded in death by a son, Billy Benjamin Link. Surviving are his wife, Lillian Harrell Link; one son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Kathy Graham Link, Arlington; two grandchildren, Brett J. Link and Todd G. Link, both of Arlington. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the Williams-Jamison-Kendall Funeral Chapel, Pembroke, with burial following in Birchlawn Burial Park at Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday.
