ANTIQUE, QUILT SHOW BEGINS IN BLACKSBURG

The Blacksburg Junior Women's Club is holding its 22nd annual Antique Show-sale and Quilt Show this week at the Blacksburg Community Center. The event begins at 6 p.m. Thursday, and at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Admission is $2 for adults and $1 for children ages 2-12.

There will be a quilt raffle, with three tickets for $1. Half of the money raised from the raffle will be donated to the Montgomery County Shelter for the Homeless.

A judged quilt show will be part of the event. Quilt entries must be registered Wednesday, noon-8 p.m. For information call 951-7310.

A lunch and baked-goods sale will be Friday, 10 a.m.-7 p.m., and Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
