KAVANAUGH NEEDS A SENSE OF HUMOR

HAVING just relocated from Miami, I find the Sheriff Kavanaugh cow caper quite amusing.

In Hallandale, just north of Miami, some perpetrators place an outhouse in front of the police station every Halloween some time during the night. This has been going on for 15 years. The official police statement is, "we can never catch them." For 15 years? Give me a break.

Sheriff Kavanaugh needs to develop the same sense of humor as the Hallandale police. JUD SCHLEIFER ROANOKE
