MATHENY, LENA G.\ Mrs. Lena Givens Matheny, age 90, of 3615 West Main St., Salem, died Monday, April 2, 1990. She was formerly of Bluefield, W. Va., was the widow of Calvin W. Matheny, Sr., and was a member of Bland Street United Methodist Church, Bluefield, W. Va. She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Calvin W., Jr., and Joan Matheny, Huntington Beach, Calif.; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Rachel Spurlin, Wytheville; Mrs. Ethel P. Riley, Roanoke. Funeral services will be at the Monte Vista Cemetery Chapel, Bluefield, W. Va., at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 5, with the Rev. Joseph N. Geiger officiating. Friends may call at the Oakey's North Chapel where the family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday.
