NURSING HOME HOSTS SCHOLARSHIP FUND RAISER

Residents of the Riverview Nursing Home in Rich Creek will be host to a Charity Jamboree at 1:30 p.m. April 22. Proceeds will be donated to the VHCA nursing scholarship in the name of Bud Lambert, Riverview's administrator who died in November.

Paul Cannaday, a quadraplegic resident, has donated a painting of a cardinal. Ada French, a Riverview employee, donated a barn scene. Leona Stanley donated a handmade afghan.

Raffle tickets are on sale for $1 for these items. The drawing will be held on April 22.

Other activities include a bake sale, handmade crafts, string music, an auction and an art exhibit.

Door prizes will be given throughout the afternoon.
