TECH DOING RESEARCH ON CHILDREN'S LIES

The psychology department and the Child Study Center at Virginia Tech are researching the situations children are likely to tell the truth or to lie. In the program, children have an opportunity to earn prizes as they make several snack choices and tell a researcher about what they picked.

The study is designed to give researchers insight into why children tell lies. Parents of children ages 6-10 who are interested in participating or would like more information should call 231-6914.
