FLOYD - George Willie Conner, age 70, passed away Tuesday, April 3, 1990, at Radford Community Hospital. He is survived by his wife, Arva C. Conner; two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward L. and Shirley Conner, Fieldale; Charles E. and Beulah Conner, Floyd; one daughter and son-in-law, Joyce C. and Allen S. Faw, Vinton; one brother, Harvey Conner, Floyd; three sisters, Effie Lawrence, King Ferry, N.Y.; Alice Lawrence, Roanoke; Virginia Garvin, Hurt; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 6, at the Maberry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Alton Griffin and Elder Hale Terry officiating. Interment will be in Jacksonville Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Thursday at the Maberry Funeral Home.
