CHERRY BLOSSOM FESTIVAL PARADE IS SATURDAY

The 1990 Cherry Blossom Festival Parade starts at 12:30 p.m., Saturday, down Constitution Avenue in Washington.

Since 1971, the parade has been sponsored and organized by the Downtown Jaycees. Funds that are raised benefit community service projects in the Washington, such as Special Olympics and the "Just Say No" Campaign.

The grand marshals will be television personality Larry King and Frank Harden and Jackson Weaver of radio station WMAL.
