WOMAN GETS 12 YEARS IN BABY'S DEATH

A Richmond woman was sentenced to 12 years in prison after pleading guilty to the beating death of an 18-month-old infant she was baby-sitting.

Tammy Denise Brown, 24, on Wednesday admitted to beating Keyonna Terry, who died shortly after midnight Jan. 5. The infant had been beaten in the abdomen and suffered a ruptured liver.
