MITCHELL, CHARLES A.\ NATURAL BRIDGE - Charles Andrew Mitchell, age 70, died Thursday, April 5, 1990 at his home., Mr. Mitchell was born April 28, 1919 in Rockbridge Co., a son of the late Charles Alfred Mitchell and Effie Powell Mitchell. He was a member of the Natural Bridge Baptist Church and was retired from Burlington Industries. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ethel Melvola Tolley Mitchell; a son, Charles Ronald Mitchell, Buena Vista; a daughter, Mrs. Linda Maxine Mitchell Lackey, Natural Bridge; a sister, Mrs. Edith Mitchell Dingledine, Vinton. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 7, 1990 at the Natural Bridge Baptist Church with the Rev. Robert M. Leonard and the Rev. Kenneth Amsler officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
