BANTON, MAMIE G.\ Mamie Goin Banton, age 86, of Roanoke, and formerly of Welcome Valley Rd., died Thursday, April 5, 1990, in a local nursing home. She was widow of Ted Banton; and surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Annie B. Martin; Mrs. Mary Jane Setchel and Mrs. Angie Stanback, all of Roanoke; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Ellett Goin, Pamplin; one sister, Mrs. Mazie Tolbert, Pamplin. Funeral services will be from Red Hill Church of the Brethren, 11:00 a.m. Saturday with the Rev. G. Ernest Deyerle,II, officiating. Interment will be in Campbell Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Roanoke Chapel.
