BALLARD, MARY M.\ BEDFORD - Miss Mary M. Ballard, age 95, of 525 Longwood Avenue, died Thursday, April 5, 1990, in Carriage Hill Retirement Center. She was born in Bedford County on October 3, 1894, daughter of the late John Davis Ballard and Laura Virginia Wyatt Ballard. She was the oldest living member of Bedford Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Mabel Wright Ballard and Ruth Gilmer Ballard, both of Bedford; and a niece, Jenny Seay Ballard of Richmond. Funeral services will be conducted at the graveside in Oakwood Cemetery Saturday at 2:00 p.m. with Dr. Richard N. Boyce officiating. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity. Friends may call at Miss Ballard's home. Carder-Tharp Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
