BUCY, JEAN\ A gentle woman, Jean Bucy, is no longer bound by this world's sufferings. There is peace in her passage to a place of light. Born in Manchester, England on April 20, 1932, Jean came to this country with her husband Robert to raise their children, Jayne, Robert and Jennifer Bucy. She is also survived by her grandsons, Dale Bucy and Andy Burnett. Jean gave more to this world than she ever asked of it. Her selflessness has always been an example to her family and friends, and we are challenged to preserve this legacy in ourselves. Friends will gather for a memorial service Sunday, April 8 at 2:00 at Unity Church of Roanoke Valley, 3300 Greenridge Road, N.W.
