EDITORIAL ABOUT VMI SELF-SERVING

I AM GOING to heed the advice of Gen. Knapp, superintendent of VMI, and "resist the urge to speak out" on the VMI issue. However, I cannot resist a comment on the hysterical, self-serving, "shrill and meaningless shouting" of your editorial of March 29. Even the editorial department knows that controversy sells newspapers.
