OBIT--SPILLMAN

Mrs. Sadye I. Spillman, age 96, of Vinton, passed away Thursday evening, April 5, 1990, at her home. She was born in Curry County, N.C., on June 24, 1893. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Vena S. Allen, Vinton; Mrs. Iva S. Putnam of Morganton, N.C.; a grandson, Ray A. Spillman, Dallas, Texas; a sister, Mrs. Iva I. Marshall, Walnut Cove, N.C.; two nephews, Joe I. Marshall, Madison, N.C.; and William F. Marshall, Jr. Walnut Cove, N.C. Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday. April 8, 1990, at the Crestview Cemetary, Forsyth County, N.C., with the Rev. Ryland Rock officiating. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
