WEST, IDA E.\ Ida Ethel West, age 77, of Roanoke, died Saturday in an area nursing home. She is survived by her daughters, Anita M. Swider, Margaret Riebold; sons, Leroy Hylton, Lonnie Hylton; fifteen grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; sisters, Glenie Smith, Juanita East, Lillian Cundiff, Mary Lee Trent, Dorothy (Dottie) Pleasanton. Graveside funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday at Dent Hill Cemetery, Route #641, Shawsville, Va., with the Rev. Tom Clay officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation. Arrangements by John M. Oakey and Son Funeral Home, Salem.
