OBIT-FERGUSON, A.

FERGUSON, ABIE L.\ ROCKY MOUNT - Abie Lee Ferguson, age 71, of 230 Montview Avenue, died Sunday morning at his home. He was retired from the Lane Company and was a member of the Rocky Mount Primitive Baptist Church for 25 years. Surviving are his wife, Ruby Johnson Ferguson; two sons, Lynn M. Ferguson, Farmville; Barry L. Ferguson, Boones Mill; three grandchildren, Scotty, Marty, and Jennifer; four sisters, Mrs. Blanche F. Onks, Martinsville; Mrs. Carrie F. Powell, Glade Hill; Mrs. Frances Plybon, Rocky Mount; Mrs. Garnett Robertson, Collinsville; one brother, Elwood Ferguson, Penhook. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 1990, at Lynch Chapel with Elder Amos Hash and Elder W. Lane Carter officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Lynch Funeral Home Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 and other times at the residence.
