EVANS, BEULAH W.\ Mrs. Beulah Wilkes Evans, age 83, of 924 Ninth Street, S. E., died Saturday in a local hospital. She was a member of the Ninth Street Church of the Brethren and a VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She was a retired Mick-or-Mack employee. Surviving are three sons, William D. (Bill) Evans, Roanoke; Thomas E. Evans, Blue Ridge; James B. Evans, Roanoke; daughters, Mildred E. Lee, Roanoke; Mary E. Preston, Stewartsville; twenty-one grandchildren, and twenty-eight great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted from Oakey's Vinton Chapel 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 10, 1990, with the Rev. Graham Sowers officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery. Friends may call at Oakey's Vinton Chapel.
