MOWLES, JANICE A.\ HIGHLAND SPRINGS - Janice A. Mowles, widow of J. Luther Mowles, died April 7, 1990. She was predeceased by one daughter, Dorothy M. Blanchard. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Juanita Milby, Charlottesville; Mrs. Shirley McDaniel, Alexandria; two sons, Donald L. Mowles, Libertyville, Ill.; J. Preston Mowles, Quinton; 14 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Willard Sharitz, Wytheville; two brothers, George and William Allison. The remains rest at the Laburnum Chapel of Woody Funeral Home at 2110 East Laburnum Ave., Richmond, Va. where services will be conducted at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Henrico Rescue Squad or Highland Springs United Methodist Church.
