WOMAN GETS 3 YEARS FOR SELLING COCAINE

A Newport woman was sentenced last week to three years on probation after being convicted of selling cocaine to a confidential police informant in 1988.

Pamela J. Huffman, 24, of Route 1, Newport, was indicted in September by a Montgomery County Circuit Court grand jury. She pleaded guilty in February and Judge Kenneth Devore sentenced her last week.

Huffman's arrest was the result of a joint FBI and Virginia State Police investigation.
