TALENT SEARCH HONORS NINE FROM BLACKSBURG

Nine students from Blacksburg Middle School have been recognized by the Center for Advancement of Academically Talented Youth. These 7th-graders scored high on the Scholastic Aptitude Test, the college admissions test given to high school seniors: Eric Brown, Basak Coruh, Luc Cremer, Michael Dove, Aaron Marshall, Kerry O'Rourke, Renee Rich, Colleen Shea and Nathan Stump.

The talent search by CTY is designed to locate and serve mathematically and verbally talented youth. CTY provides the students with an assessment of their academic abilities and opportunities to develop their talent.
