SOLO FOLLIES COMING TO NEW RIVER SCHOOLS

The Council for Community Enrichment will present Larry Goldstein's Solo Follies in area schools this month.

Solo Follies is a comic revue featuring a wide range of performance styles from ukelele to pantomime, monologues to red-nosed clown sagas, coupled with audience participation in which the volunteers are co-stars and co-authors, not victims.

Goldstein has performed in plays all over the United States, including the National Theater in Washington, D.C., and the Chrysler Museum in Norfolk. His schedule in the New River Valley includes: April 26 - 10 a.m., Belle Heth auditorium; 2 p.m., McHarg auditorium; 4:30 p.m., workshop for grades 5-8, Radford Recreation Center. April 27: 9 a.m., Riverlawn auditorium; 1:45 p.m., Snowville auditorium.
