PENDRY, LOIS J.\ Mrs. Lois (Jean) Lester Pendry, age 54, of Elliston, died Tuesday in a Roanoke hospital. She is survived by her husband, Orville M. Pendry; daughter, Ms. Sandra Pendry, Elliston; daughter and son-in-law, Mrs. Sharon and Rev. Timothy Nuckles, Richmond; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert and Edna Lester, Salem; brother, James Gary Lester, Vinton; three sisters, Mrs. Frances Lester Baird, Salem; Mrs. Gloria Lester Strickler, Fincastle; Mrs. Joyce Lester Howard, Elliston; granddaughter, Sheila Wimmer, Elliston; two grandsons, Christopher Nuckles and Brandon Nuckles, both of Richmond. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, 1990, at 1:00 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Ronald King and the Rev. Jack Perdue officiating. Interment will be in Lafayette Cemetery, Montgomery County. The family will be at the funeral home from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday. Arrangements handled by Lotz Salem Chapel.
