HOWELL, LAWRENCE G.\ CHRISTIANSBURG - Lawrence G. Howell, age 83, of 420 Hemlock Drive, died Monday, April 9, 1990, in the Lewis-Gale Hospital. He was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Howell and is survived by a son, Harold E. Howell, Christiansburg; four granddaughters and four great-grandsons. He attended Christiansburg First Church of the Nazerine. Funeral services and the burial will be in Sarasota, Fla. Richardson-Horne Funeral Home is handling the local arrangements.
