MILLER, JAMES S.\ BUENA VISTA - James Sinkler (Sneeze Weed) Miller, age 73, died Monday, April 9, 1990, in the Stonewall Jackson Hospital. Mr. Miller was born on November 24, 1916, in Rockbridge County, a son of the late John Knox Miller and Bessie Hughes Miller. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #1499 and was a veteran of World War II receiving the Bronze Star Medal during the European Theater. He was retired from Columbian Gas after 31 years of service. Surviving are his wife, Edith Floyd Miller; two stepsons, Larry K. Rhodenizer and Patrick Scott Rhodenizer, both of Buena Vista; four stepdaughters, Debby Ann Rhodenizer and Brenda Lee Rhodenizer Hunt, both of Lexington; Karen Faye Rhodenizer Smith, Natural Bridge; and Edith Christina Rhodenizer, Buena Vista; three stepgrandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, April 12, 1990, at 2:00 p.m. at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Robert M. Leonard officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Harrison Funeral Home, Lexington.
