Margaret Beatrice Newman, age 84, past away Tuesday. She is survived by three daughters, Elouise Viares, Maryland; Mrs. Betty Cline, Galax; Mrs. Bobby Doris Fender, Woodlawn; six sons, Johnny Newman, Austinsville; Dylis Newman, Woodlawn; Linnie Jake Newman, Jr., Woodlawn; C. H. Pete Newman, Woodlawn; Roger Newman, Maryland, Barry Newman, Hillsville; half brother, Leroy McGee, Colonial Heights; two half sisters, Mrs. Octavia Clark and Mrs. Jo Sowers both of Dublin; stepsister, Mrs. Annie Porter, Dublin; 40 grandchildren; 58 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Funeral services for Linnie Jordon Newman and Margaret Beatrice Newman will be Thursday, at 2:00 pm from the Vaughan-Guynn Funeral Chapel with burial in the Newman Cemetery.
