OBIT HENDRICKSON, H.

Helen Ellen Hendrickson, age 90, died Wednesday morning in a Rich Creek nursing home. A native of Pembroke, she was the daughter of the late George W. and Adella Lake Meredith. She was the last charter member of the First United Methodist Church, Pembroke. She was preceded in death by her husband, Asa G. Hendrickson. Surviving are two sons, A.G. Hendrickson, Pearisburg; George Hendrickson, Flint, Mich.; five daughters, Edna Lee Burris, Lynchburg; Lois Ross, Roanoke; Mary Alice Davis, Wixom, Mich.; Judy Kerby, Flint, Mich.; Janie Johnston, Pearisburg; 26 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. in the First United Methodist Church, Pembroke, with the Rev. Raymond S. Kelley officiating. Burial will be in Birchlawn Burial Park, Pearisburg. The family will receive friends at Williams-Jamison-Kendall Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6:00 to 9:00.
