BANKRUPTCY FILINGS LISTED

A Vinton heating firm, a former photo lab operator in Roanoke and a Franklin County construction company have filed business petitions in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Roanoke.

Larry and Teresa Drummond, doing business as APHC, a heating and air conditioning installation and repair company, asked for liquidation, listing debt of $207,701 and assets of $18,160. Larry Drummond formerly operated Arctic Pacific Heating and Cooling, which filed for liquidation in February.

Frederick V. Perdue, former operator of Star City Photo until last month, filed for a wage-earner plan. He reported debt of $69,043 and assets of $11,894. Michael L. Taylor of Union Hall, trading as Baywood Construction, asked for liquidation. He estimated both his debt and assets at less than $500,000.

Little Mac's Grocery at Glen Lyn, headed by Mac A. Thompson, filed for reorganization, estimating debts and assets at less than $50,000. John D. Hart of Wytheville, doing business as Horizon Educational Services in Columbus, Ohio, until August, filed for a wage-earner plan, listing debts at $95,763 and assets at less than $50,000. - Staff report
