CURBS MAY EASE ON COMPUTER SALES

There is growing agreement in the Bush administration on the need to ease restrictions on sales of high-technology computers and other products to Eastern Europe, an administration official said Wednesday.

President Bush will be given recommendations by the end of the month from the various Cabinet agencies that have been reviewing the issue and its national security implications, said Commerce Undersecretary Dennis Kloske.
