MARY C. SKINNER has been appointed operations manager of H.L. Duke & Co., Inc., a third-party administrator of self-insured group health and workers' compensation plans. She will be in charge of all operations relating to claims and administration for both the Roanoke and Richmond offices of the company.

\ BELVA VERNICE DESKINS and JACK T. BLEVINS SR. have been elected vice presidents of Persinger Supply Co. Deskins, who has been with the company 20 years, is also secretary and treasurer. Blevins, who has been with the company 14 years, is industrial division manager. Persinger has headquarters in Prichard, W.Va. and a branch in Salem.

\ STEPHEN A. MUSSELWHITE, general agent of Musselwhite & Associates, has been appointed to the Board of Directors of Community Hospital of Roanoke Valley.

\ ARTHUR HERBERER has joined Jack Martin Insurance Broker, Inc. as regional marketing director.

\ A. EASLEY JOHNSON JR. has been named printing sales manager for Lanman Dominion, Inc. in Richmond. Johnson was formerly president of Virginia Lithography in Roanoke.
