LAWSON, SARAH A.\ Sarah A. Lawson, age 90, of Rt. 4, died Saturday, April 14, 1990, in a Salem hospital. She was born January 28, 1900, in Maxwell, Va., the daughter of the late John Houston and Nanny Taylor. Surviving are three children, Robert C. Lawson, Allen Lawson, Betty Ratcliff; and a daughter-in-law, Priscilla Lawson, all of Christiansburg; one brother, Emit Taylor, Columbus, Ohio; one sister, Laura Proffitt, Front Royal; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday from the Friendship Baptist Church, Radford, conducted by the Rev. Larry Perry, the Rev. Grady Green and the Rev. Preston Naff with burial in Highland Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Sunday evening at the Richardson-Horne Funeral Home.
