OBIT--BROCE

Mrs. Aberdeen Webster Broce, age 74, died Friday, April 13, 1990, at Highland Manor Nursing Home in Dublin. She was the widow of Warren Matthew Broce. Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Doris and Mack Wilkerson, Suffolk; Carolyn and Arlow Sheppard, Hendersonville, N.C.; one son and daughter-in-law, David Warren and Patty Broce, Christiansburg; one sister, Josephine Craig, Christiansburg; one brother, John Webster, Salem; one half sister, Dora Hunt, Henderson, N.C.; one half brother, Herbie Webster, Christiansburg; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 18, 1990, at 11:00 a.m. at Hoy-McCoy Funeral Home Chapel conducted by the Rev. Sonny Furrow. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society. The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
