ARMS DEALER'S SECOND APPEAL REJECTED

A former CIA agent convicted of selling arms to Libya after leaving the agency lost a second appeal Monday.

A three-judge panel of the 4th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled that Edwin P. Wilson failed to show that evidence he claimed the prosecution withheld was favorable to his defense.

Wilson was convicted and sentenced to prison despite his claims that his employees who sold the weapons illegally were acting on their own and that he was working for U.S. intelligence by using arms sales to get the trust of the Libyans. - Associated Press
