SIGN-UPS BEING TAKEN FOR SCHOOL BOARD POSTS

Two seats on the Pulaski County School Board are up for reappointment, to begin July 1.

A representative for the Massie District and a member-at-large will be appointed for four-year terms.

Anne B. Neighbors now represents the Massie District, and Thomas B. Thompson is a member-at-large. Both plan to ask for reappointment.

Applications should be sent to the School Board Selection Commission, in care of Ralph Allison, chairman, Route 1, Box 218, Draper, Va. 24324. Deadline is May 8.

The commission will hold a public hearing on the appointments on May 8 at 7:30 p.m. at the Pulaski County School Board Office, 44 Third St., Pulaski.

The commission will make the appointments on May 15 at 4 p.m.
