OBIT HILTON, F.

HILTON, F. McCLURE, SR. Fred McClure Hilton, Sr., age 82, died Tuesday morning at his home. A native of Interior, Va., he was a son of the late Joseph H. and Louvenia Jones Hilton. He was a retired merchant and carpenter. Surviving are his wife, Claudie Kessinger Hilton; two sons, Jewel L. Hilton, Salem; Fred McClure Hilton, Jr., Roanoke; one daughter, Janet H. Cary, Brandon, Fla.; one sister, Geneva H. Ratcliffe, Alexandria, Va.; nine grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 2:00 p.m. in the Williams-Jamison-Kendall Funeral Home, Pembroke, with burial following in the family cemetery at Interior. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday evening.
