OBIT KANODE, L.

Lawrence Alvin Kanode, age 74, of Roanoke, died Tuesday. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Golda S. Kanode; one son, David L. Kanode, Salem; three daughters, Mrs. Sharon Poff, Salem; Mrs. Kathy Martin; Mrs. Annette Simmons, both of Roanoke; one brother, Ernest Kanode, Alexandria; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Ellen Underwood, Roanoke; six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 19 at 3:00 p.m. at the Lotz Salem Chapel with the Rev. Otis Burgher and the Rev. R.C. Wilson officiating. Interment will be in Sherwood Memorial Park. Friends may call at Lotz Salem Chapel.
