OBIT HAIRSTON, A.

Andrew Hairston of 1510 Melrose Ave., N. W., died Sunday, April 15, 1990. He is survived by his wife, Carlie Hairston of Roanoke; three daughters, Ms. Rebecca Johnson, Mrs. Carretta Franklin, Ms. Margaret Hairston, all of Roanoke; one son-in-law, Melvin D. Franklin, Jr., Roanoke; one sister, Lily C. Wingfield of Akron, Ohio; one brother-in-law, Herman Wingfield, Akron, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Virginia Wallace, Roanoke, Mrs. Willett Johnson of Roanoke; seven grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; two nephews, John L. Martin of Akron, Ohio; and Willie Reese Moyer of Eaden, N. C.; one niece, Linda Smith of Akron, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. in Fizer Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dwight O. Steele officiating. Burial in the Franklin Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Wednesday night at Fizer Funeral Home from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m.
