MAN CHARGED IN DEATH, MUTILATION OF DAUGHTER

A man bludgeoned his daughter with a tire iron, then dismembered her body and boiled parts on the kitchen stove, police said Tuesday.

Police on Tuesday found the dismembered body of Carol DiGregorio, 38, in the apartment she shared with her father, John DiGregorio, 60.

Some of her body parts had been skinned and boiled, and the head was stuffed in the refrigerator.

DiGregorio was charged with murder and abuse of a corpse.

Rubenstein said DiGregorio told authorities he bludgeoned his daughter after she threatened him with a knife.
