Virginia Gillespie Clay, age 75, of 3962 Sandpiper Dr., S.W. died Tuesday in a local hospital. She was the widow of P. Cleveland Clay, and a member of Cave Spring United Methodist Church. Surviving are one daughter and son-in-law, Ruth C. And John A. Mullen, Jr., of Roanoke; grandchildren and spouses, Jackie M. and James F. Kinder, Jr., Marilyn R. Mullen-Harriman and Edward E. Harriman, Jr., all of Roanoke; great-grandchildren, Meredith Lee Kinder and James Clay Kinder. Services will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at Oakey's South Chapel with the Rev. Louis E. Carson officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Burial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday at Oakey's South Chapel.
