SLIDES WILL BE MADE FOR ART WORK

Professional photographers will be at North Cross School Saturday to make slides of the work of area artists.

The session will be 10 a.m.-4 p.m. It will be followed by "Shooting Artwork," an hour-long lecture/demonstration on photographing art work.

The event is sponsored by the Richmond-based Art Services Network and is supported in part by a grant from the Arts Council of Roanoke Valley.

The charge per 20-minute session will be $20 for Arts Services Network members and $40 for non-members. Up to five works can be photographed in each session.

Artists must register in advance by calling the arts council. They can sign up for more than one session.
